About Manitoba Housing

The Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation (Manitoba Housing) is a Crown Corporation within the Department of Housing, Addictions and Homelessness. Our mandate includes addressing housing needs across the continuum, from emergency shelter to homeownership, and ensuring that there is an adequate supply of housing stock in Manitoba. We directly manage 11,700 units and subsidize an additional 13,050 units.
